MASSAGE AND ACUPUNCTURE CANCELLATION, FAIL AND LATENESS POLICY
At Village Acupuncture & Massage Therapy we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as flight delays, car problems, traffic considerations, business meetings, and project deadlines are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage or acupuncture appointment.
ARRIVAL TO THE CLINIC
Please arrive for your appointment(s) 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows you the time to fill out the appropriate client forms and prepare for the service. All services offered have a specific time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) will be shortened in order to keep on schedule.CANCELLATION POLICY
You are required to notify us as soon as possible if you are not able to make your appointment. If you miss your appointment without notifying us, it will result in a no-show fee as that time has been set aside specifically for you. This fee is equal to 50% the full service cost. You will be required to pay this charge before you are allowed to schedule your next service, or in the event that an appointment is already scheduled you will be required to pay this charge before you are seen. After two failed appointments, you will be required to pre-pay for all services at Village Acupuncture & Massage Therapy. This also applies to Motor Vehicle or Workman’s Comp patients. If you would like to be reimbursed by your insurance company we will provide you with a receipt. No refunds will be provided for monies paid on cancellations or no-shows. Cancellations on required pre-paid services received more than 1 week prior to the scheduled event are eligible for a 100% refund, and cancellations received less than 1 week prior to a scheduled event are eligible for a 50% refund. The owners reserve the right to make the final decision on any and all refunds issued.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY As a courtesy to our other guests and staff, if arriving late, your 60 or 90 minute massage/acupuncture appointment will be shortened according to your late arrival time; you will be required to pay full price for the scheduled 60 or 90 minute massage or 60 minute acupuncture appointment. 30 minute massages will be automatically cancelled 15 minutes after scheduled start time and you will be charged a no-show fee. We regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. These policies were adopted to ensure that the therapists time, the clinic and its efforts be respected, as well as maintaining a stress-free and relaxing experience for your appointment..
